Barbara Gale has been a member of Romance Writers of America
since 1981, and is one of the
original members of Romance Writers of New York, dating back to the
days when they met in the lobby of the Citicorp Building. She is also
a member of New Jersey Romance Writers where she runs workshops at
their October conference.
Born and raised in New York
City, she resides in Brooklyn with her husband and children. They also
own a cabin in upstate New York, where much of Barbara's
writing is done. She is also a long time member of the Stamford Public Library, the best kept secret in Delaware County, whose shelves are abundantly filled with romance novels.
